Control rents and regulate service charges
Sky-high rents in the private rented sector are making it impossible for people to find somewhere safe and secure to live, and even pushing people out of their homes. Providing more council housing is the long term solution to the housing crisis, but we need the government to take immediate action to ease the pressure on people who rent their homes. That’s why we’re campaigning for rent controls.
